Concept and meaning of Morning Assembly-
Morning assembly is the most serene feature of the school where students learn the values of collective prayer and are exposed to the need to inculcate moral and ethical values
Assemblies are conducted with the active participation of the students and teachers. In this students gather in the school for many variety of purposes such as special programs or communicating information on a daily or weekly basis. In some schools students perform some common songs, prayers or to receive common announcement.
In morning assembly all the students of the school stand in the assembly together and pray to God and believe that God is one. They stand equally without any discrimination on the basis of color, caste, creed or religion etc.
Definition-
According to Oxford Dictionary- "Words that you say to God, giving thanks or asking for help to say your prayers, prayers for the sick he arrived at that very moment as if in answer to their prayer."
According to Plato Philosophy of GOD- " Plato considered that there must be a measure of goodness in order to identify God and benevolent and maintained their to be a standard of' 'goodness' that is independent of God. This is because of the basis for Plato is most central idea to correspond with his notion of the soul. The words that you use when you speak to God or a God that is the act of speaking to God.
Jesus define prayer-
Jesus said that prayer should be a private time between God and the worshipper. Jesus does not mean that it is wrong to pray with others, but the prayer should be sincere and for the right motives.
Prayer in the bible is how believers of God talk to him. It’s how they make their praise and request known, the scripture are filled with beautiful examples of people crying out to God and asking for his strength, guidance, healing and more.
As spiritual communication with God or an object of worship as an application, giving adoration or confession is the act or practice of praying to God or an object of worship.
Importance of prayer
Prayer is your conversation with God and how can you develop, develop a personal meaningful relationship with God of the universe who loves you it is how he can do. Miracles in your heart.

3-Prayer keeps God in the forefront of your mind, not forgotten.
4-More frequent communications build a stronger relationship.
5-The discipline of daily prayer is submitting your heart for God.
6-Opening your heart to God daily allows God to transform your heart.
Benefits of praying
Healing presence- prayer can bring a sense of a spiritual and loving presence and alignment with God or an immersion into our universal unconsciousness. Positive feelings, prayer can elicit feelings of gratitude, compassion, forgiveness, and help of all of which are associated with healing and wellness.
Prayer helps you find the direction in your life. Prayer gives you strength to avoid temptation.
Prayer brings us closer to God because prayer is communicating with God. It helps us build our relationship with him.
Prayer changes our focus. It’s easy to get caught up in the circumstances going on around us good or bad. Praying direct our focus away from here on earth to God in heaven.
Importance of prayer in school
1-Prayer is a way to teach children to turn to God for wisdom and guidance. It helps to remind the young minds each day that they must bring their concerns and worries to God so that they gain clarity on the situation in a relaxed moment of prayer.
2-Teaching through a Christian lens and incorporating prayer in the classrooms demonstrate to students, the truth that God desires to be a part of energy aspect of their lives whether that’s in school in sports or one day in their future careers.
3-Praying gives a few moments’ of silence to students for appreciating the good things in life. A sense of gratitude is important because we need to remember that life comes with a lot of surprises and its unpredictability is its truest essence.
4-Focus and concentration is the most vital outcome of prayer. Standing straight, folding hands, joined feet and closed eyes – everyone aligned to one rhythm – this is the greatest form of concentration.
5-Prayer is meditation in disguise. Meditation is the best thing to happen if practiced by students. Praying doesn’t necessarily mean calling out to God but it can be perceived as reaching out to each individual’s faith. When that becomes sincere, what comes next is optimism.
